Back when my kids were in group music lessons, we would start Christmas music in October. The teacher always said, if I wait until December to give them Christmas music to learn, it will be Valentine's Day before they have it ready! It's amazing how much earlier you have to start to be ready for such a holiday when you are a teacher!
